About Chloé:

Chloé started playing a multitude of sports at a young age such as soccer, running track and cross-country and playing basketball. Chloé excelled in all of these sports and still holds running records to date. In high school, she began to follow in her dad and older brothers footsteps and started cycling after she had her first reconstructive surgery in her shoulder. With just two months of training Chloé won her first National title in the Junior 15-16 Criterium race and placed third in the time trial and road race. After achieving gold and two bronze medals, Team Twenty16 Devo asked Chloé to be on the team for the upcoming season.

Leading into 2014 Chloé had two goals, to win all three events at Junior Nationals and to go to Junior Worlds. Thinking nothing could stop her, she was asked to finish the season with her high school basketball team and agreed to do so. But three weeks after committing to playing, Chloé suffered a knee injury, blowing her ACL causing her to sit out the entire year and put those dreams on hold. At the beginning of the 2015 season, Chloé main goal and focus this time was to win Junior Worlds and she did.

TWENTY16 has an emphasis on education with the initiation of our Junior Scholarship program in 2015. https://teamtwenty16.com/education.htm

Why is continued education important?

Education is so important especially for female cyclists because it is harder to make a living off of just cycling. Getting a college degree will help with getting a job for more income and will also be there when your cycling career is over.
