Hannah has grown up in the foothills of North Carolina in a large family. She is the 4th of 9 children. Hannah comes out of a swim and triathlon background having competed since the age of 9. She began racing cyclo-cross at the recommendation of her coach Sonni Dyer at the age of 11 as a method of cross training in the winter months. In 2012 at the age of 14 Hannah made the decision to leave the world of triathlon and commit fully to cycling. She continues to enjoy racing the disciplines of road, track, and Cyclo-cross. 2015 will mark Hannah’s third season with Twenty16 and she is thrilled to be returning to the team. Off the bike Hannah enjoys romping with her brothers and sisters, cooking, singing and sewing. She is an avid student and hopes to one day be able to blend her love of school and riding at the college level and beyond.
